Third Reich News Broadcasts Opening Theme
 

Gents,

Does anybody happen to know the name of the opening theme of the Third Reich news broadcasts? You can hear it in almost every wartime radio news broadcasts and also in the movie Das Boot.

I looked every where on the internet to find it but alas. It drives me crazy.

Should not be that difficult.

Search for "Les Preludes" from Franz Liszt. The Finale of that piece of classical music was the opening to the "Wochenschau" from 1940 until end of WW2.

It was also known as "Russland Fanfare" ...
