[REL] Capt. Teach's Color Icons for SH3 GWX 3.0 Gold
 

Greetings fellow Kaleuns!

This mod was created to provide you with color icons for Silent Hunter III GWX 3.0 Gold in either standard
or Integrated Orders modes.

I have spent a lot of time going over the icons to insure that the re-learning curve is kept to an absolute
minimum. In many cases I think you will find they are the same (just in color), in some cases they are
different but follow the spirit or intent of the original black and white icon, and in rare cases ...
completely re-worked. However, if you are already familiar with the black and white icons I think you will
find the use of my color icons to be intuitive. Over 170 icons were altered and colored and I hope you will
enjoy using them as much as I enjoyed making them. :D Also included is a re-working of the Gramophone
controls.

I have done my own series of playtesting using both the Standard Icons and the Integrated Orders Icons and
it seems to work beautifully. With the incredible number of mods out there for SH3 I cannot possibly hope
to test this mod with every possible mod combination, however, as my mod only alters the icons themselves
I doubt you will have any problems.

Capt. Teach's SH3 Color Icons for GWX 3.0 (Standard)
--for those who prefer to play =without= Integrated Orders.
Capt. Teach's SH3 Color Icons with Integrated Orders
--for those who prefer the use of Integrated Orders.

This mod is JSGME compatable.
THIS MOD DOES NOT INCLUDE OR ALTER CAPT. AMERICA'S OFFICER ICONS.
This mod does not include or alter the Crew Orders Icons as I felt this would only encourage folks to use
those and they cause in many cases a CTD. I do not recommend using the crew orders icons.

I always did find those black and white icons a little out of place when everything else is in color. It's these little mods that keep SH3 fresh. :yep:

Ok sorry about those links to the pictures not working guys ... its from my picture album here at subsim.com. At the time of this post I don't have any other places to upload screenshots online .... however, Ill see if I can't snag me a free account somewhere to upload screenshots you all can see. Hitman mentioned a place called Imageshack ... I'll try there first.

I snagged an account at Imageshack and have put those two images there. I have altered the links on my first post in this thread to those images and hopefully this will work for now.

I'll continue working on figuring out how to exactly post the picture itself in the posts.
