Patch mod for STEAM?
 

I've got a little wish: Could somebody "extract" the files from the 1.2 patch and make it available for us poor steam users?

Steam has been patched. Im a steam user and Im at 1.2

I'm a steam user also.

I seem to be having an issue with getting the generic mod enabler to work, followed the instructions and all that, but cant get any mods to work.

Steam patches itself, you don't use the gameupdater.

How can I start the game without the gameupdater kicking in and overriding the mods?

I think that there is a way - but you'll need another Steam user to tell you how. Have you tried the Steam forums ?

Didnt think of that, I'll head over there and check them out, if it comes down to it, I'll go buy a hard copy of the game so I can mod it. Thx

right click the game in your games list, open properties, turn off the option to always keep this game up to date. if you haven't done this before the patch then it will auto patch just running steam. you might be able to revert manually but whats the point? most of the best mods have already been updated as well

It doesn't override mods playing on steam. You just need to put JSGME into the correct Location. program files, steam, steam apps, common, silen hunter 5. Its a little more difffcult to find but once there its all good.
