Take a seat Specter...
Hell yea !!! :woot::yeah:
|
Thank goodness! If I ever have to hear his self-aggrandizing mush-mouthed muttering again it will be too soon. Seriously, am I the only one that thinks he sounds like Boss Nass from Star Wars?
Whoever wins his seat, it's a win for America's eardrums... and for enunciation. |
Heh I always thought he sounded a little like Larry Flint.. no worse than Bawney Fwank though...
Well its a start now for Pelosi, Reed, and Mr. Fwank ! :salute: |
Other than Arlen Specter, I don't think anyone at all is upset Specter lost. He rolled over for GWB, and now the opportunistic, unprincipled old coot gets what he deserves. Karma's a beeyotch.

Well after Obama applauded his party swap and promised to 'be there' for him. Obama may be a bit dissapointed.
|
And besides I thought his "wall of sound" sucked and he really needs to get some real wigs.
oh :oops: :D |
Glad to see him gone even though I dislike Sestak's positions on many things and hope he loses in November, just can't stand all his talk about working with obama etc. I do respect him for his service and believe his assertion that he was offered a bribe in the form of a job(perhaps Secretary of the Navy? being a retired two star Admiral and all) to drop out of the race for Specter's benefit but he decided to stay in the race anyway, even with Obama etc behind Specter.I have known a few retired Admirals over the years since I live near "The Cradle of Naval Aviation" and never met one even close to being as Liberal as he is so can not say I want him in the Senate, better than Specter for sure though.Just too bad we can't throw Obama out in November 2010, have to wait a while for that.
