Woo-hoo!

Just got the money for the shipyard to build me a sumbarine!

Actually it is a computer capable of dealin with SH5. However, since I will not expose this machine to viruses and other junk, it will seldom be online, if ever. Thus SH5 can stay with the Ubi servers and and cater to Ubi servants.

So maybe as early as tomorrow, I'll be downloading SH3 mit GWX and launch a new and exciting Balz career. (DID for sure)

PS
I'm more excited than those fanbois at that other forum. :D

But how ever did you get that request for 10 belly dancer costumes past the bean counters?

pickinthebanjo 05-18-10 08:34 PM

Sounds good, whats the specs?

I've been looking to replace mine for a while now runs to hot

Brag 05-18-10 08:53 PM

I've had too many brews tonight. Will post specs tomorrow. Main thing ith has 4GB ram, but some unknown to me graphics card.

Computer assemblers in Chile give you so much paper it requires total sobriety to study :88)

congrats on your new computer and welcome back to SH3:salute:

Balz is back!:|\\

Sailor Steve 05-19-10 08:36 AM

Oh Balz!

And Balz can't be DiD - he has to survive the war. Otherwise who is going to advise everybody in the nuclear age?

That would probably be passed down to somebody elderly in years but youthful in memories :hmmm:

Bang, bang, bang, slap slap, screech, boom, boom.
Those are the noises emanating from the cave of the forty thieves who are building the computer and Balz's sumbie. Supposed to be ready tomorrow afternoon.

The specs: Win 7 home premium
NEO 800Core 2 Duo2GB/400
XFX video PCIE HD4350 1024MB DDR2
Kingston DDR 22GB 800 Mhz

18" monitor

I don't know if this is good or not. At the store they explained I had to have 2gb in one place and 2 GB in another, so the hoochie woochie could read all four GB.

The good news is that the dollar made a steep rise yesterday and this saved me nearly a hundred bucks.:D

I have a one GB internet connection is that enough to download SH3 and GWX?

RConch 05-19-10 01:38 PM

Good Hunting!

Look forward to the first report when the depth charges start knocking off the paint chips on that new paint job.:salute:

I thought you had 22GB for a moment :o

1GB will do quite nicely....you even have a choice between the exe plus 7 bin files or the single file exe.

My advice would be to use the torrent links for the method of your choice from my FF account.

If you choose the 8 file method I'd still recommend you use my FF account because there have been a few reports recently suggesting potentialy corrupt files at the GWX website.

Many thanks, Jimbo. :DL

Yeah you may be right about that, I downloaded from the GWX site and had problems, so I just downloaded it elsewhere and it works fine. May have just been me though, who knows.
