MultiSH3 Thingy
Hi chaps.
Quick question, I'm looking to run 2 intsalls of SH3 and I know this can be done through MultiSH3, however I'm already mid-campaign on my original install. Is it possible to be able to install/use multish3 thingy, without losing my current original install/campaign, or, do I have to start afresh with two vanilla installs+1.4b and mods? I've done this twice....the first time it was okay, the second time it didn't but I can't recall if the failed save was mid patrol :doh:
Gotta be worth a try....back up your saves first......just in case. |
Thanks Jim, warning heeded :salute: I'll give it a bash tomorrow and post how it went. One other thing does this affect SH3Commander any way?

Not 100% sure but it shouldn't because Commander returns the game back to its original configuration after each closure (I have auto rollback enabled).

I've just remembered.....you'll also need to transfer your existing career into the extra folder you've created via MultiSH3 and ensure you continue using said same name. |

UPDATE
OK all is installed fine got 2 versions of SH3 and original carrer is preserved just right. Nice one Jim you made an old man very happy mate :up::salute: Best regards. Fubar2Niner |
