Adding more merchants

I was wondering if there are any mods that add more ships for NYGM. I have been playing it for a while and the only problem I have is that there are not as many ships as in GWX. I would appreciate any input from anyone who has a suggestion on this issue. Thanks

port the ships from gwx or WAC to nygm. i forgot how, but someone will come along to show you soon.

Are you using IABL's ship pack for NYGM? There are a good bunch of aditional ships there :hmmm: and the multiple skins make them look as if there were even more

You can throw any ship into NYGM from anywhere
Wont sink right though as NYGM has a specific zones cfg for its units

All you need is the units Sea folder and the Cfg from Roster/*country*/Sea

Interesting, I would like to hear more about that. And when you say they won't sink right what are we talking here, something strange or stock sinking?

As an example of what I would like to add would be a Whale factory ship and tankers and various others. So I would have to find the units Sea folder and the Cfg from Roster/*country*/Sea for whatever ship and add it to my installations .cfg right? I Imagine I would have to also enter a line into some .cfg file for the ship as well right?

Thanks
