Question regarding difficulty levels in campaign
 

When launching a new campaign, it would seem I can select Easy, Hard, Realistic, etc. but not "a la carte" settings as one can in Historic Missions.
I always choose realistic for my campaigns, but I lose external camera, which I do like for the eye candy.
Is there no way to have my cake and eat it too, i.e, have my campaign set on "realistc" but also have external camera enabled?

Once you start the campaign, you can press ESC then select Options while in the "sub pen" area before boarding your u-boat to set specific campaign difficulty settings.

Something else that needs fixing.

What needs fixing about it?

The ability to be able to select varrious dificulty settings/ game options etc, for the campaign as you start it, rather than just the generic Easy, Hard, Realistic, etc.

You should be able to do this without having to exit while in the bunker. This process is not an obvious (or logical) option in the interface design, hence why it has caught so many people out. Perhaps if the process were detailed in the game documentation it would be acceptable??

Ah, well the actual controls to change the settings work, but yes it's poorly documented, in fact I don't think it is documented at all. It must be some strange quirky design choice, as in SH4 it was hidden as a radio in the commander's room. That caught a lot of people out too.
