A Few Hours Ago in San Diego

My sons ship (MS Ryndam) arrived in San Diego and he took these on his phone camera a few hours ago.

Cool. Just to the North of where she's tied up are HMS Surprise (replica, formerly Rose), Star of India, and some other cool stuff.

:yep:

Is that the Holland America cruise ship MS Ryndam? Searching around for it and that's the only result I'm getting so far. :ping:

Never seen so many carriers in one spot. Very cool!

Your son is a lucky geordie. Hope he can find a good drop of the brown dog somewhere nearby.

You should see Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Last count I had there was four waiting to be turned into razor blades. Nice pics from the boy Jimbuna, as proud as any father should be of his son.

Thank you my friends....yes, like any father I'm ever so proud :salute:

He's off to Alaska in a day or two and comes home the back end of May.

Hubbard Glacier (Alaska area I presume) lol

He's just turned 21 so still needs to learn a few things in life like....always get on the edge of a picture where the birds are and let some other fool stand in the centre with nothing to hold on to :DL
