How to find "your posts"?

On another BBS I frequent there is a button to click to "view your posts".

Frequently I post in a thread here but I forget which threads I posted in, and I miss the responses.

Is there an easy way to get a list of all my own posts?

Well you can click your own name then the statistics tab
Then all posts

or

Clicking UserCP top left will also bring up a list of threads you subscribed to - posted in - that have been updated ie more posts

When you post, if you look all the way at the bottom, past the 'submit trply' and 'preview post' buttons, in the additional options area, you'll see the ability 'thread subscription'. That'll let you subscribe to threads that you want to keep track of.

There's also a black dot on the little envelope icon on the forum page that lists all the threads in a given forum.
It gives a quick visual indication of what threads you've posted in.

:)

This only works for threads you have subscribed to, not just posted in.

This requires me to manually subscribe to posts to find again in the future. I could just as easily bookmark them. I'm more interested in functionality that just says, "find my posts" by virtue of the fact that I posted in them.

I'm not seeing this black dot. Can you describe it better or take a screen shot?

Go to your public profile (not User CP), click on the Statistics tab, and then 'Find all posts by maillemaker.'

When you're in the Silent Hunter 3 forum(or any other forum of your choice) and the list of all the threads in that particular forum are shown, on the far left are little envelope icons. Some will show little flames, some will be closed envelopes, and some will show a padlock on them. The posts that you have posted in will have a black dot on them.
There is an index at the bottom of the page for what those icons mean.

Maybe there is some setting in your user CP that is not allowing to see these?

:)

I see all the little icons you are talking about, but no black dots. :(

I don't have black dots either, if I've posted in a thread there's a little arrow over the envelope. Similar to what you get in, say, Outlook on an email that you've replied to. Looks like this:

Ahhh...I see, said the blind man. :03: Thought I was going crazy there.

I'm using haylazblue for my forum skin(easier on my eyes) and the dots are with that. I switched to the forum default and get the little arrows. I think I'll stick with the haylazblue skin though and my little black dots. :O:

Still though, no matter what forum skin you use, there is some sort of icon that tells you what threads you've posted in.
