Deck Gun Query

Greetings!
I like to play at 100% realism....would installing the bad weather deck gun mod be considered as more realistic or less realistic if it was on the realism options page?

I guess it`d be less realistic, on a real sub in heavy seas it would be nearly impossible to hit anything with the gun, not to mention the risk of crew being lost overboard.

As per the above....anything over 7m/s wind would mean the deck would be rolling and or pitching too much to allow a crew to man the gun effectively.
