How do you make a playable unit for multiplayer?
 

I have a friend that's having problems with making fresh boats, and putting them in game. What he wants is to just take a stock ship from the game, and make it play for multiplayer. Is there a step by step already posted?, or could someone please post one here .

I believe everyone playing would also have to have that new ship in their game as well in order for it to work. More info on the type of ship that's being created would help too.
