Hi,

the next project which I tackle is Calais. I will move the harbour there where he belongs there.

Just noticed that as adjusting a few bases along the channel

Is this a citation, from which Thread?

Have you done this, but I do not understand yet properly, "reflect change of hands" what was done?

No thats from my WIP readme - no thread as waiting for patch
Well a small part of the readme
If you look ingame at Calais it stays French all through the war
Doesnt change to German then British
Many ports are that way

Now understand I, you have reworked the DevSide. These data were never right up to now in the Stock version.

You have already done everything :o?
The first Screen is Vigo and the Norwegian cities you have also already provided :up:!

Now we are in the situation if we change the files of the Common folder, we headline the available version.

You have already changed something, you instal my Brunsbuttel change, your data are headlined with it.

The mission editor SH5 has, unfortunately, no Merge function.

Have only added the naval bases in Norway at the mo
No harbours or terrain changes
Am not too good with the terrain modelling tool :nope:

Yes no merge function in ME :damn:
Not good that

Patch 1.2 will force me to do most of my work again which is ok as the bases dont work properly in SH5 - another broken function - so is going to take me a while to figure out a work round :roll:

Are you guys able to add the things you're doing as missions, layers, so they can work along side the campaign files, or are they changes TO the campaign files?

Well the Common.mis has been used in the case of the Brunsbuettal mod as nodes moved in the Kiel canal and will be again in the Calais mod as generator node will need to be moved
Same for mine
Bases are on the Commom.mis and they wont show ingame unless linked to a generator node
Could put the additional bases on a seperate mis but as have to alter the Common for existing bases no point and if on the Common then can link the new generators into the node paths

Unfortunately every change means a new career so hoping to get all mine done in one hit - may merge with my resupply mod - to lessen the impact of new career starts
I will of course make mine compatable with anything thfue58 releases first:yeah: as posted earlier patch 1.2 will destroy most of what I have done
More of a learning process so time not wasted
Esp as found out bases dont work properly if have country changeovers
Can see now why the devs had Norway,France etc as Axis countries as some bases wont show otherwise
Will be spending the rest of today trying to find a workround to that but if the devs couldnt :hmmm:

Even additional mis files added alongside existing campaign need a new career to be seen - Icebergs show that
That includes doint the tutorial most times too - notice how you get a save after sinking the Polish ships and from then on in you are always loading a save game
You never end a patrol fully as in previous games when docking but load saves

Anyway enough of hijacking thfues thread :oops:
