Type VIID/Type X
 

I'm just wondering if there are any mods for mines or mine-laying subs. There were quite afew of them in reality,
Anyway if there is not a mod I'm wondering if it's even possible to do.

Even if it's just a chained mine (the kind you see near harbors) as I don't think it would be possible to add a new weapon entry into the .cfg file.
Now I'm not a modder But wouldn't it be possible to make a mine appear behind you instead of a torpedo, when firing aft?

maybe you need SHIV. The type VIID is in Operation Monsun, you can even lay mines with it.

Interesting but SH4 sucked big time. I thought it was one of the worst that I have ever played. No offence to anyone

Does it work with GWX3? I think i'm gonna make another install if it doesn't, I've been meaning to do that with another supermod.

It sucked so much that I shelved it for two years. But with the addon and all the mods it's now better than SHIII, in my opinion. No offence to anyone either ;)

No, sorry it does not work with GWX! It was ONLY for LivingSilentHunter V4.0 and for private use, not an official MOD !

I was looking for LSH3 Ver 4 but could not find a working link, do you have a link to it that works?

I checked out that ver 5 but I think I prefer GWX3 but if I can get ver 4 going with that minelayer convoy's should be interesting

But: In LSH v4 is the minelayer VIID NOT INCLUDED !!!! I remember what I say, this was a privately produced MOD based on LSH v4! All necessary files have been adjusted based on LSH v4 by hand (manual adjusted).
