How can I change my U-boat Model?
 

Without starting a new career how do I change my U-Boat Model?
I want a VIIC/41 with the big deck gun.

VIIs only used the 88mm and IIRC the 41 variant didnt have one on at all
The bulk of the 7cs also had them removed as useless by mid war

As to getting it early have no idea

No way to swap out your U-Boat to another without starting a new campain.

I can confirm that there is only one deck gun available throughout the whole of SHV.....If you want big bangs, download the excellent railgun mod

I'm guessing that that is either just a mod in development, or, more likely a screenshot from SH3. As far as I can tell, the poster of that thread never really clearly stated that he was working on a mod, and frankly I don't think those look like graphics from SH5...unless he is running the "crappy textures and Uber pixellated boat" mod.:DL

The water doesn't look right, the sub-pens don't look right, and the boat is nowhere near anything as detailed as I have seen in SH5.

Methinks he may be pulling your leg, although I could be wrong again as usual...:doh:

Easy, play SH3 GWX which can be played without even being connected to the UBI server.

It's SH5... been obviously photoshopped though.
