For those of you that wrote "the Check", just think of all of the great ways your money will be spent.

Yep some of that money went to me, which I'm saving for School.

Yep. Filed online, specified 'Direct Depost', and got the refund four days later.

I used my fed one to pay some bills and it's funding my travels this summer.

But, The state one is a different story...:shifty::stare:. I wish I could pay them in pennies.

So no taxes are ever collected during a republican administration? Then I want my refund for the Bush and Reagan years. :stare:

Ours was submitted electronically a few weeks ago. Didn't check and see if they'd paid us yet. Least NM is paying.

It'd be nice for the news to properly report "tax freedom day." They could say, "Happy New Year! If you earn less than $30,000 (or whatever it is, I made that up), your tax freedom day was in November of last year for THIS year! Otherwise, if you make less than 40k (or whatever) tax freedom day is TODAY!"

The do another for the middle quintile in February, etc.

;)
