All my campaign saves crashing back to desktop
 

Hi all,

I'm not sure what is causing this issue but all my campaign saves are crashing back to desktop once the loading screen finishes with "not so long ago...." screen.

Has anyone else come across this?

How old is your SH3 DVD?
Does it still have StarForce?
Did you install Reloadeds stuff?

StarForce AND Reloadeds stuff broke things.
I proved that to myself by extensive testing of the Game in a Debugger
over a period of 2 years.

Get a newer version without StarForce.
I checked the files and they are infact StarForce FREE
and date to the correct time of release.

I will be doing the exact same testing on the files this weekend.
I know where things fail with the StarForce and ReLoaded stuff.
So I know where to look.

Well i'm pretty sure its something i've done. including adding/removing mods while out on patrol. I used the starforce removal tool last night as my old copy of SH3 installed it and i didn't remove it when i bought the "revival" version for a fiver.

I've reverted one campaign to a previous save in port and had to delete one campaign as it was only on the first patrol so no real loss there. :salute:

I have a similar problem, but my game crashes at the end of the loading for my 1st partol when I start a new campaign ( all old save CTD too ) , Launching a training mission works fine. I've got GWX , manos GUI and the new interior installed.
