[REQ] visual damage on u-boat model

Since the devs did not bother to give the external view of the u-boat a damage model. (at leasts i,ve never seen any) i wonder what the possiblaty,s are for the community to make one? Take a look at sh-3 for instanse. If you where hit by shells your deck would big black spots when hit , depthcharges could bend the flak and deck gun and so on. In sh-4 you could get big wholes which was unrealistic but still it had a visual damage model. But the model in sh-5 never takes a scrats whatsoever whenever. This calls for modding. How am i gonna limp home back to port like in das boot with a boat that looks like it just got out of dry dock?

Could be that the GrannyDamageDecalsCtrl is not
listed in the sim.
There's alot of Units missing this.
Go whack the King George and see what I mean.

But that would mean the merchants wouldnt have a damage model either right?

Some do and some don't.
I have not checked them all.
King George was what caught my eye.
Then others tested my thoughts.
And I was right.
It's a simple matter to add this controller and get damages to show.

Some will claim it's a Bug!
I do not see it that way.
It's mearly an exclusion in some sim files.

We just add the needed controller to the sim and we are off!

Well i guess this is another thing for the modder to put on the list.
