U-boats external visual damage?

Uhm is it just me or did they also scrap the visual damage for the u-boat on the out-side? I have been hit with shells , gunfire , depthcharges , bombs , even a collision so far. I sustain some damage but it never shows on the external view . I remember in sh-3 the boat got black spots when hit by shells and depthcharges sometimes bend my flag guns. The deckgun could be destoyed as well and oil would leak out of the u-boat. In sh-4 you could get huge holes witch was a little over the top .But with sh-5 i,ve yet to see any visual damage on the u-boat at all!! But my feeling tells me i wont be limping home all messed up and damaged. What gives? If somebody could show me a picture i believe its in but as of now i think they also left this out. Insted by u-boat behaves like a tank and never takes a scratch on the outside. Hmm i guess the german discovered chobham armour in WWII way before the british did huh?

No, I haven't seen any either. :shifty:
And it's definitely not because I'm a brilliant uboat ace who never takes a scratch...

Yep i never ever seen any visual damage either. I tried testing it in a single mission but i dont even thing sh-5 has a damage model for the u-boats! WTF! this pisses me off for crying out loud! Well i gues this was to be expected immortal crew! + immortal u-boat damage model! GREAT!! I fear this would be very hard to mod as well.

(grudgingly admitting to one minor improvement) at least collision with destroyer doesn't result in said vessel sinking on top of you!
