I have to say I have never cared a whole lot for her. Some of the stuff she promotes I object to, sometimes strongly. I also think her ego eclipses the sun. I also don't much care for her personality.

Gravity - it always brings ya down....

Maybe if she walked up stairs she wouldn't be a fat tub of goo.

First of all, who ever said she had that image? Oprah is ok in my book, does some good stuff, some stuff I don't agree with. But one thing she is good at is making money! But I have never heard her or anyone else refer to her as America's benevolent earth mother.

I think this author is making a strawman just to make her argument. Guess she want's to sell a book or something.
