Deck gun questions
 

1. How can I tell how many rounds I left with?

2. How do I tell my crew to ceasefire?

1. Get on the gun and check. Should be possible to include them on the torpedo screen I imagine, not sure anyone's looked into that yet as a mod.

2. Surface the boat, or use a mod like MultiUI for SH5 that includes the 'Hold Fire' button. I believe as of tomorrow it'll be fixed and you'll be able to normally tell them to stop, or at least to unman on command.

shell count is available upper left side of screen when YOU man the gun. I don't know any other way to see it otherwise. Your gun crew just fires until they run out of ammo or are drowned, I guess...

BTW, how do I man the gun?
 

Couldn't find a key or a way to get there.

You have to walk there (using the W,S,A,D keys if your using an unmodded version of the game). there is a ladder on each side of the conning tower to walk down to the deck.
then left click with the mouse (on the deck gun) to enter the deck gun. then click the icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
