Rise of nations 2?
 

Would anyone be interested in a sequel to this game? (not including rise of legends)

I like the idea of games like RoN and Empire earth although i would like to see them made with a little more care and accuracy.

Definitely, RoN was one of my favourite traditional RTS games, another one would be great as long as it isn't completely ruined.

One of the things I didn't like, as with other games in the genre (*cough* Age of Empires *cough*) was how strange the actual fighting was; units bashing each other until one of the other dies. If they could implement something better (Well, I don't have any ideas, but I'm sure there could be something) it would be awesome...

I think if they make a RoN2, the map should be like Civilization 4, where up close it's flat, but as you zoom out and look at the map, it starts to curve off and become spherical.
