Will help if needed.

Hello everyone,

I was going through the posts here a few days ago ... and I noticed a couple of guys commenting on high res skins for SH3 subs they couldn't get anymore or couldn't find. [Had to do with non-camo pattern skins] As per my norm, I read them and thought "Man that is not good, sorry to hear that." Then I thought about it for a couple of days and decided, "Hey I'll contact those guys and let them know I can make high res skins for them if they would like and don't mind waiting between 7 - 14 days [Yeah, RL does tend to get in the way ] for me to make them."

I'll even make them to order ... if they just outline what they would like I can do it, no real problem. However, I can't find that thread now ... and so I don't know who they were. If you are one of those guys ... or you would like a skin made you cannot find in either 1024 or 2048 I'm around.

Thanks!

:salute:

Somebody actually (IIRC it was SaltWaterCowboy) did a pink Type VII awhile ago... You might have to look for it but it can be found on BtS. It wasn't HighRes though. And hey, Capt Teach, just a friendly word of advice from a guy who's made a bunch of skins, inviting people to "special order" skins is known to cause headaches, arguements and can be hazardous to your playing time ;) Make what YOU like and let people download what THEY like... Just my 2 Cents man

Ah cool, Thought maybe someone may have done one already but couldn't hurt to add a bit of humor :DL

oh and yes capt, dont want to let yourself get overwhelmed!

Capt. Teach 04-11-10 03:56 PM

Hehheheheh,

Yeah thanks guys ... I had thought about the overwhelm factor shortly after I posted ... but there doesn't seem to be a rush so ... [no requests at all actually] probably because no one has seen any skins I have done. I haven't requested upload privs so I don't have any out there folks can see.

Currently I am completing my skin production setup files ... once those are completed ... I can slap out skins fast Fast FAST. Just now finishing the setups for type VII and have a decent start on type IX's ... I figure for VII's and IX's Ill have production setup done in about ... hmmm 5 days [maybe less, but I wouldn't bank on that]. Then Ill work on the XXI files, and get around to the others eventually since I am also working on a complete soundpack for SHIV.

Also I'm gonna contact Paul Riley ... I believe he just posted about skins concerning weathering and texturing and such with some questions.

Anywho ... thanks for the warning about getting overwhelmed

Heheh ...

Well in German ...what would that be ... Operation Fraulien Hosen?
In GB would it be Operation Bird Knickers?
