I have been looking around this forum for some time now, and thought that it was time to start up the old SH3 again. after the dissapointment that was SH5 (im not saying its a bad game, just that i expected a bit more after playing GWX) i have seen many new mods for Silent hunter 3. i remember some time ago, that there was a mod that added torpedos to the game, by racerboy i think it was. was this mod ever released? and if it wasnt, dosent silent hunter 5 have torpedos that could be put into this game along with other features such as missions in a campaign?? as i undestand it, silent hunter 5 has a campaign like Shells Of Fury, where you do missions, but its not really freeplay because there is not much worth exploring for. maybe one day the square coastlines of SH3 will be normal looking.:06:

well thanks for listening. by the way, are there any mods that are new to silent hunter 3 since the last time i came after GWX 3 came out? also i recall some packs of planes by this russian guy (whose name i forgot) which had tonnes of planes, such as the swordfish floatplane, can anyone direct me to these?

Your best start point is probably the Stickies on the SH3 Mods page. You'll find detailed info on GWX and NYGM as well as SH3 Commander. I haven't heard of the mods you're after but someone will probably be along soon who has.

I would personally recommend a good environment mod, there are a few to chose from.

Try either
RIK 007's SH5 Water or
MEP3

Both very impressive.

Go to UserCP, under Settings & Options in the list on the left choose Edit Options. Scroll down to Thread Display Options and under Thread Display Mode there's a dropdown menu that will let you select Linear-Oldest First.

Scroll all the way down to the bottom and click Save Changes and you're all set!
