[REQ] How do we get rid of crew talk "balloons"

Those talk balloons above crew heads look ridiculous. Any mods that get rid of them yet?

:hmmm: cg

I've been using No Damn Bubbles/Halos mod, and still can't seem to get the exclamation point from over Dieter, ever since I asked him about his family.

I know this was a reported bug in stock version, but the NDB/NDH mod has removed all other halos/bubbles, and even the exclamation points from the officers in the sub pen. I just can't get the one off from over Dieter, and it's a real immersion killer. Thoughts?

Not sure, I think this was included in the original mod - there is a folder called

"No Dialogue Indicator" that nobbles the exclamation marks over their heads.

Reckon that's what sorts it.

Fortunately my No2 "Rascal" Dieter has nothing to say

That's exactly what worked for me. The moment I realized they had to go was when, on the bridge during a beautiful sunset, the exclamation point over "Grinning" Dieter actually cast a beautiful sun ray down past his head. Like it was actually there, floating in 3d space above my sub.
Ridiculous. :shifty:
NDB,NDH for me.

Thanks rededge, that was it.
