[REQ] Crew improvment by training

There is an option when talikng to the XO about running a drill. Surely the game would be better if the crew got gradually better through training and drills. When a virgin crew goes out on its first mission, surely it shouldn't be able to crash dive the boat at the same speed as a veterans crew. Wouldn't it be better if there was an option of drilling the crew aand seeing tangable results??

Would this be possible through modding??

I like the idea.

Fantastic idea.

It sort of has that now right? You get 'development' points to spend on increasing skills of members of the crew. As you go on and succeed you get more and more points to spend on their skills.

i like the idea as well and mabey if you do it to many times (like spaming) it would reduce morale or make them so mad the men put a thumb tack on your chair

Yeah thats a good point but the promotion points just apply to one member of the crew. What I was thinking of was the efficiency of the crew directly improving from crash dive drills, gun drill etc. There is a crew efficiency meter and maybe this could be modded to increase slowly the more drills you do and like you say decrease if you do too many
