What is the best ever weapon in a game that you have used?

Nothing says "hi nice to meat you" like a chainsaw :DL

LTL shotgun from SWAT 4; dunno, just like it.

Though I'm pretty attached to my (silenced) M110 as well. :DL

Can't really pick one, but here's few of my favorites:

- L96A1 Sniper rifle from BF2
- Chainsaw from Doom
- Mp5 in pretty much any game
- Kar 98K from Half-life 1 Day of Defeat
- Suomi M/31 SMG from Finnish Defence Forces addon for ArmA
- And last but not least, FN FAL from ACE addon for ArmA

The Croquet Mallet from American McGee's Alice

Honourable mention to the Vorpal Blade of the same game...

The Gauss Rifle From Stalker Call of Pripyat.

Its got to be the Nailgun from Quake :D

So many nice weapons out there it's hard to pick one favourite, so I'll list a few:

• TAC50 and FN FAL from Arma2+ACEX
• HK417-series from Arma+ACE
• Stg.44 from Hidden and Dangerous
• Crossbow from Half-Life

For me, the M4/AK47 from Counter Strike.
And claws. Both in Vampire Slayer (Mod for half life 1) and AVP

Chainsaw from Doom for me, just loved carving those demons up with one.

Mine has to be the "Stuff" Gun from some HL2 mod I had (can't remember it's name) You just aim it at something (eg a barrel), right click, then left click to fire that object :D

My favourite weapon in Doom was always the Plasma Rifle although the Rocket Launcher was a close second, the only snag being the minus frags incurred through corridor combat.
I recall one particularly amusing incident during a Doom LAN match at school where a friend of mine was hiding behind a door with a rocket launcher ready for me to stumble upon him. I opened the door but as the door was rising I saw his feet and shut it again just as he fired :yeah:

Medal of Honour: M1 Garand

I voted for the rocket launcher, although there isn't an option in the poll for the rabbit-firing rocket launcher cheat in Shadow Warrior. That was one of my all-time favorites. :D

Errr...i'm assuming it fires rabbits? A potent weapon? :)
