why cant i find ships to sink!!

why oh why did i come to the blasted Mediterranean!!!
im supposed to sink 25,000 tons of allied shipping but all i find is task forces with cruisers and what not...

help? i think sh5 needs a merchant traffic fix... they need to actually come to where you are supposed to patrol in game.

Try ports with easy acces.
Ive sunk quite a few ships while they were moored.

Note if you are tasked with sinking a named target this will not work as you will not be credited with the kill.

I dont even know if regular merchants will get credited to be honest.
