Tojo Bernard on a tin can?
 

Patroling about 60kn N of Abandon I ran into this Tojo task force.
I had 4 fish forward and 4 aft left, 40% fuel about to make my way back to Midway. It was semi choppy seas and about 1500, decided to risk a daylight attack. I was out of position and the task force was hauling so I had no choice but to hit the pedal and try to flank them. Just befor I went under 3 DD's detected me and made for my last detected position. But I managed to get into position and slam the forward fish into a Carrier anyway.

Started a slow dive soon as the last fish left ther tubes. Figgured if I hit anything 6 Tojo DD's were not going to be happy. Now, 3 of these clowns are still off in the area of my last detected visual position! One of them I noticed something odd, almost like it was damaged, but under full steam. Neither had a clue and I escaped unscathed. Tojo Bernard might be celebrating the Chinese new year - because his @ss was a dragon ;)
