Stern Torpedo Room?

Just wondering if this was never added to the interior? Obviously you can't find it in the VIIA, but in the VIIB,C,etc I figured it'd be there..

Hi,
guess this is ok, the type VII A did only have an outer torpedo tube - one shot and no reload, so there was no aft torpedo room until the type VII B :salute:

Greetings,
Catfish

That's what I'm saying.

I understand it's not modelled in the interior of the VIIA, but the VIIB and its following variants had enclosed torpedo tubes within the hull. Thus, should we get another stern compartment to wander in?

Neal's video of the tour of the boat showed it. There is no separate room - the tube is at the back of the e-machine room.

Which is correct. They were not big enough for a separate compartment.

Ahhh OK, I was under the impression that once the toob became inclosed in the pressure hull that another stern torpedo room was added.. my bad :D

Still , its to bad they didnt model the reloading animations in the stern torpedo room. and the tube is always open in the inside?

I'm assuming this is because their animations are somewhat limited in this respect, as with the rather wooden reload of the bow tubes, thus perhaps it simply wasn't feasible in such an enclosed space?

As for the tube hatch, I'm certain one of the videos showed it closed, but I cannot verify this.
