School for Modders?
 

I'd like to learn how to make (write?) mods, can anyone tell me where would be the best place to begin learning the how to's?

read the forums here...you will see, how it works and which tools are used. in general:

- get familiar with the file structure of the game
- learn about the file-types
- look, what you want to change
- look what you can change
- look, how others worked on the same

and then...get the tools, like photoshop, silent 3ditor and a 3d program, read some more threads and get starting!

Also, which area are you interested in modding prefreably? Campaign/missions? 3D Models? Interface? If you have a specific interest, we can point you in the right direction with more ease :salute:
