Who is Capt. Rahn??
 

"Heard from Captain Rahn yet?" The question i ask the radio guy sometimes.
Anyone have idea who this is? Maybe somone to rendezvous with and go hunting in a tiny wolfpack.

I believe he is the U-boat captain from the beginning of the game.

It is the captain you took over after. The one from the tutorial mission. He moves on to command another boat and you move up to commander. He gives a little lecture about being a warrior and taking care of his old crew just before you set out on your first patrol as commander of U-29(?).

Because he was your old captain and you're interested in whether or not he's still alive.

Captain Rahn is the anti-hitler captain who sits around doing nothing for 3 days while you sink 5 ships and conn the boat singlehandedly. And for this he is rewarded with U-1something or other. I'm only in Febuary 1940 so i dont know what happens to him.

He's anti nazi, so i'm sure he'll die, another attempted realignment of the nazi people's true moral compass :P (Almost half of germany was nazi in the mid 1930's, but according to SH5 by 1939 they are down to something like 4 or 5 percent :) (only one person out of like 16 is an open nazi, one is "A bit racist".

Well. Lets hope i meet him again then, and maybe we can have some german beer. Havent got any answer yet....

He has got the best voice acting in the game, however.

Would be really nice to have more (tutorial) missions with him, learning the tools of the trade.

No. The radioman's brother is on the Bismarck, and she'll make her first and only dive in -41. Rahn is assigned to command another U-boat after the first patrol.
