Colour explosions
 

By random chanceI stumbled over the paintings of Leonid Afremov today, an Ukrainian born, Israel-living painter. Since I did, I searched his paintings, and many of them leave me stunned and mesmerised. Those colours, those gemütlich glowing lights, that intense moods in his scenes! I have already printed two I like especially well, and they will find a place over my desktop.

Correction: he now lives in the US, as Israel apparently has not welcomed him and intruders vandalised his studio there.

Now I know why he reminded me of Chagall.
