Landeinheit sighted rollercoaster view?
When I get the report ' Landeinheit gesichtet! ' , and then press ' . ' , I get a funny view, as the camera is then going up and down in long, slow movements. This also goes for ALL ships and units sighted troughout that Feindfahrt, when I press the ' . ' key to have a look at them. Is there a solution to this?
Greetings from Hauptmann |
Does that mean your crew sights land? I've never heard that report in five years of play. Obviously I don't know the answer, but...
WELCOME ABOARD!:sunny: |
Re: Landeinheit sighted!
Well, it's only in writing, though, but still a big annoyance for me as I can't have a closer look at reported contacts, all I get is a strange rollercoaster view, as the camera rise to like 300 feet in a slow movement, then swoops down to almost hit the surface again.

The camera is outside of its parameters.
There are fixes for this, depending on what mods you might be using. Welcome to SS http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...es/welcome.gif |
Thanks, Jim :-)
I am still a bit confused about this, it only occurs when I hit the '. ' key after a land unit is reported. It's not like the unit is far away or anything. If i get my act together I can make a FRAPS movie of this, but knowing myself too well - it will take WEEKS :haha: |

Hell....it happens to me from time to time so I compensate by waiting until they're in visual range. |
It usually only happens to Jim after his first crate of brown dog of the evening:D.

'Neuer Funkspruch, Herr Kaleun!' - Ringtone.
Does anyone have - or can make - a sound file of the message 'Neuer Funkspruch, Herr Kaleun' ? I'd love to have it as a text message alert on my mobile phone :D
Mail to hauptmann_meyer@yahoo.com Thank you in advance :-) |
Oooops - wrong thread :P
I planned to make this a new topic, but I'll try my luck here first :-)
