100K tonnage sank, still no mission?
 

i've sank over 100K tonnage, incl. merchant alone, & was disappointed when i returned to base that i apparently have not moved on in the game. is this a bug & i'm going to have restart or does the tonnage explicity have to be off britain's coastal waters, etc? i hunted a bit around holland (why were british ships coming to holland btw?) and occasionally stalked off the coast...they don't clearly define any limit. just looking for advice as i'd like to move on to the next phase.

on the map does the bar down the bottom full or moved at all?

are you sure you requested the mission? (even if you don't request mission it still appears on map but you can't complete)

Are you not using the crack?

It might complete when you finish the patrol and go to select the next mission...at least it did for me.

So did anyone manage to get their captain promoted yet?

All I have so far is a VIIC in 1940 and multiple IC2 and Iron Cross awards....

heh, 1943, 1 million tonnes sunk. No promotions.

What is supposed to happen after 1 June 1940? I got back to base and the briefing is still going on about Poland, but there are no missions to select.

I sank a battleship on my last patrol, you'd think they would give me some recognition, but not even an Iron Cross 2nd class... My 1WO got wounded - but no wound badge for him either.
