Did a search and all SH4 hits

Ummm am in Narvik and supposed to photo recon
Been here a day or so and short of getting off the boat and buying a camera how is the mission achieved ?
At least in SH4 you could use a camera and take a pic :damn:

Approaching the location and looking at the harbour through the periscope did the trick for me.

whait infront of harbor and make a pic of eng ship comming in to harbor lock it thith your periscoop and it will put a take pic next to shift target button was it 4 me

Yep, you need to lock your scope onto a ship and then a text box will appear next to 'Switch Target' that will say something like 'Take Photo'. You need to take a pic of a ship, not the actual harbour. You can sink the ship after you have photographed it... so the photo isn't that useful really :-)

Yeesh.

HARBOR recon or coast recon (photo) has only a few plausible uses. BDA, and invasion planning. Taking pictures of ships is absurd.
