Power supply question
Is therea utility that can detect waht power supply the pc has? I want to run a vid card that wont damage the pc.

The power supply's rating should be listed on the sticker on the side of it, in watts.

If i get the gist of the OP's qstn, always look on your proposed GPU's website and look at what they recommend...
Straight from the horses mouth, so to speak. My GPU recommends a min 550W PSU, i went for a 750W, for extra "juice", when needed. |
