Really cool story!
I found a convoy of merchants.
I stalked them. I quickly found that they had an escort. We were going head on, me attacking the merchants, him attacking me. I dived to periscope depth and fired a torpedo at it. It hit him dead on and broke of the front of his ship. I surfaced and resumed attacking the merchants. He was still attacking me somehow though he was almost vertical:hmmm: Eventually he sank. Randomly a merchant I thought was unarmed started shooting at me. I sank him with my deck gun. Again random shooting. This time I used a torpedo also. Eventually I had no torpedoes and not ammo so I dived and left. Quite actiony |
Try running into 2 convoys..youll wish you had more torpedos.
Or even better a military task force of nothing but troop transports with only 2 corvette escorts...that was a masscure, but troop transports can fire at you on the surfance..but either they had horrible aim..or their machine guns do 0 damage to anything.. |

I must of been really lucky or had some seriously poor shots, because i had at times 3 troop ships shooting me up for over 10 minutes+ and they never even did a scratch. Sunk all 3 of them with the deck gun..it was a nice light show back and forth for a while.. |

No damage what so ever from this fight. Posted it in the screenshot thread too, but oh well. But yea...all those lights were pretty much for nothing or i just got seriously lucky....

troop transports
I think it's small arms fire. They actually did minor damage to my my periscope, flak guns, radio, which my men quickly repaired. I found that if stay further away they don't shoot, maybe out of range.

I find it sad their attacking with AA guns:nope:
