Runs slow in sub, settings help
 

here is what I have
Intel core2duo T8300@ 2.4ghz
3gigram
winvista 32bit
Nvidia geforce 8600mgt x2

moving around the sub is slow going and cutsceens are very slow. Any tips on making it run smoother or is this game too much of a beast for my system?

Disable shadows entirely. Works miracles on NVIDA cards.

Whats up Bro, hey check out laptopvideo2go and see if thiers some better mobile drivers, check out dox modified drivers, im running them on my laptop. But be aware i have the same problem the control room has a bug with nvidia in that it runs sloooow. down their.

Some people have disabled the shadows and it runs great then. also make sure your using nhancer you can get that at guru3d.com

turning shadows off and nhancer did the trick. Its up and running much better now, still not uber awesome but still great enough to enjoy. Now time to figure out how to run around my sub :) Thanks guys and good hunting

...and I do truly hope that soon the problem with shadows will be plugged and you can enjoy the awesome shadow effects that the game has. Shame they only come "free" to ATI users for now...
