I've just started playing SH4 with Operation Monsun and real fleet boat but I'm dazed and confused. I want a Weapons officer to hold my hand, i.e like in SH3 "gimme a solution for this target" but I don't want auto lock on amraam mode with green cheeses every where. This is so I can try and do it myself but all is not lost if my brain overheats. How can I do this in SH4. Must be in a U-boot in the Atlantic though...

can some kind person explain it to me as each version/mod permutation/country's Sub seems to be different..and the manual is a waste of bytes.

Can't. The cut out the middleman, and now it's full manual or full auto.
