No Gramophone?
Sorry if this has been mentioned already but I certainly haven't come across the conversation before.
There appears to be no Gramophone feature? |
same old record played that much it wore out. :wah:
|
From Ubisoft.
Will SH5 have both a gramophone (like SH3) for playing "records" and a working radio (like SH4) that can be tuned in to various stations for broadcasts of music, shows, and news? Both these features will make an appearance. The amount of included materials for them will be limited though because of copyright issues and respect for other people’s works. We expect modders will come out with content packs for these features, as they did for SH4. |
There's gramophone sounds in a folder (and radio), and also this in cfg-file:
[Cmd466] Name=Gramophone_play Contexts=1 MnID=0x3F210002 So I guess it's possible, hope that will be fixed in a patch, too bad if modders have to fix everything that should have been in the game (according to devs), but isn't. |
The sounds in the folder are the old SH4 files including Washington Radiostation :P
None are working out of the box. |
mmmm Bugger thats not good news, Guess ill have to play with itunes in background for now. Fingers crossed it will be either modded or patched very quickly. Has anyone let ubisoft know that it dosnt work, or are we hoping they find out on here?
|
Jeezus! Why they rush these games out and forget things like the gramophone, is beyond me.
|
Sure it's not some sort of "Unlock-able Feature" for the radioman ?

Yeah. If it is not like that, I'd want a modder to do his VooDoo,that they do so well....
|
In the ubisoft movie you see that the sound man play a song from lvl1.
And I think in lvl2 you can play an other song. (The picture is a Gramophone.) |
