Red light
Does any know if the lights going red by night in SH5?

I think he's talking about switching to red light only inside the submarine during nighttime. The reason is, as any ex-military would know, that red light will (to the least degree) destroy your seeing at nighttime.
Blue light is actually the worst light to have during the night, as it's almost the same wavelenght as sunlight and then you go virtually blind for atlest 45min in the dark (darkness adaption by the retina). |

I have it on good authority from my Ubisoft source that you can indeed sound Red Alert. The lights in the command centre will go red, the alarm will start sounding, and all your crew will get +2 to every combat stats.
Apparently Neal is in touch with them, telling them that they've "misunderstood slightly", or that they "may be catering to the arcade audience a tad bit too much". |
