[WIP] WAC 4.1 - DF antenna, Pennants-Flag on Turm
 
I do this work at the desire of fans of WAC 4.1 mod and accordingly i do it in my style...

Mod file - WAC_DFa_FlagPens_BrHatch_test_2.7z - Only for Testing!
Author Anvart.
This mod is absolutely independent original work, and this mod don't uses stuff from other similar mods of other authors.

This test-part of mod is for SH3 ver. 1.4b game with WAC 4.1 mod.
In this mod you can control rotation, raising/lowering of DF antenna and raising/lowering
of Flag and Pennants on Type 2A and Type 21 turms (pennants - only for Type 2A)...
using new StateMachine Classes... and using next commands:
1) DF antenna Raising and Rotation beginning - keys Shift+V ...
2) DF antenna Rotation Stop and Lowering - keys Ctrl+V ...
3) Raising Flag - keys Shift+F ...
4) Lowering Flag - keys Ctrl+F ...
5) Raising Pennants - keys Ctl+PgUp ... Rise_whole_obs_periscope command...
6) Lowering Pennants - keys Ctl+PgDn, PgUp, PgDn ... Lower_whole_obs_periscope,
Rise_obs_periscope, Lower_obs_periscope commands ...
5) also, DF antenna, Flag and Pennants - Lowering by commands:
Crash_dive
Periscope_depth
Snorkel_depth
Dive
Set_depth
...
Bridge hatch is animated now... automatic opening/closing.
Some irritating errors of Type2A turm and Type 21 (not all) are corrected...
Water particles have been transferred to separate file Water_particles.dat
from NSS_Uboat21.DAT (this part of WAC 4.1 is not finished by author, IIRC Rubini).

Notes (some rules and restrictions):
1) Raising/Lowering of Flag work if the Watch Officer is on the bridge.
2) Raising/Lowering of Pennants work if the Watch Officer is on the bridge and
only in Harbor!!! Uboat states = InHarbor or InHarborNeutral. In other words... Watches team quietly contemplates the world around them.
3) Water Reflection for Pennants is disconnected (alpha-blending artefacts)...
4) If you have raised pennants, do not delete Watch Officer from the bridge.
If you have casually removed Watch Officer from the bridge, do not use ObsPeriscope commands for lowering of pennants, simply click by the mouse on Depth Dial near to 0 meters (Set_depth command)...
5) Two files (Pennants.jpg, ListOfPens.jpg) with the image of pennants and
with the list of pennants, which (sunk tonnage) you can write down in file
"..\data\Submarine\NSS_Uboat2A\NSS_Uboat2A.eqp " after each mission, are presented.
(I don't use SH3 Commander... may be trough it possible to connect pennants more easy?)

Installation:
Using JSGME ...
Unpack WAC_DFa_FlagPens_BrHatch_test_2.7z file in MOD folder.
To attach to game as last mod...

His S3D tool successfully expand (supplement) HexEditor.
S3D accelerates editing of files content ... especially object-animation, mesh animations
(limited) and StateMachine System files ...
The visual control through S3D Viewer allows to place objects quickly ... and so on ...

Hi, guys.
It (pennants) works in campaign and in single missions...
but you should not use mods, disconnecting campaign data (as "MBFL mod v1.0 Beta")... and use properly dates of war...
:D

and... i have not made it in test-mod... but you can make it...
Open file xx_menu.txt (by notebook)... go to the end of file and make following change:

4970=;No officer at helms station!

red is new simbol!
...

Hello,

Unfortunately, with II-A U-boot I have CDT during
mission loading (single or carrier).

XXI works fine. :yeah:

Impossible to load museum. Game no responding.

Maybe something wrong with my installation. . .

I hope it works for other people.

(WAC 4.1 / Windows 7 x64 / 6 GB RAM / 8800 GTX / Core 2 Duo 6800)

Unfortunately after five years of modding, crossing identifiers of objects (the conflict of identifiers) - the usual reason of errors... may be...
Try to disconnect all mods except main WAC 4.1... and try...
and also... using "MBFL mod v1.0 Beta" mod disconnect campaign data... create new single mission only with Type 2A... and try will be CTD or no...

P.S.
I have now (since February) Internet traffic without the limit (cost - 480 ru in month, but low speed) and I will download full WAC 4.1 mod and try too... may be 3...4 days will be enough (to D/L)... :rotfl2:
May be somebody has good torrent for D/L?
