I Hate Power Buttons....
 

On my new computer, the power button is on the right side, right by my computer. On my old computer, it was in the smack dab middle nearly the usb plugs and such. Of course, I always hit the power button with my foot at the end of the patrol... I Hate Power Buttons.:stare:

glue a small plastic box on it, like those small ones you get when you buy jewelry. And use sticky tape, not crazy glue so you can remove it when you need the button

considering the PC is new, you dont want to tinker too much so not to have a guarantee void. If thats not the case just remove the button and move it out of the way.

Control Panel -> Power management -> Advanced -> "When press power button" choose "Ask me what to do".
