Leander Class Cruiser for SH3?

Has anyone seen a Leander Class Cruiser made for SH3 yet? I saw that Chinese U-47 was working on one for his surface ships. I tried reaching him but haven't had any success.

Are there any others out there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

probably the case because none of the Chinese U-47 works on the destroyer depth charges in order to play the U-boat vs. Dys.
and in general I would be glad if I could swim very IJN ships part I liked, but we still have to wait

I greet and wish you a successful hunt

Any ideas anyone?

Since I recently got back to work on my expanded Med campaign for GWX, I have found several ships that were missing (HMS Wasp, Arethusa Class, HMS Ark Royal, HMS Glorius standing in for HMS Eagle, H Class, M Class, etc.), but I can't find a Leander class cruiser.

HMS Ajax and Neptune specifically, were very active in Med operations and its a shame not to represnt them properly. The closest option I have for scripting them is a Southampton.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks! I'll wait with baited breath!

Until then I am using Southamptons as place holders and to make them easy to find and swap out later.

Doing an inventory of capitol ships in the Med, the Leander is the last major missing ship class that I can see. There are a few other cruiser classes missing, but the Leanders (Neptune and Ajax) were very active in the Med and GWX doesn't really have a good substitute for their look and displacement. It would be a shame to leave them out.

An HMS Eagle would eventually be cool too, but for now I am substituting VonDos's HMS Glorius. It looks a little different, but it works.

BTW...Has anyone seen any Abdiel class minelayers out there while we're at it?

I have plans for some new cruisers like the "Sydney", "Leander", "York", "Houston", and a few others - however there are a lot of merchant ships I need to complete first.

That would be awesome! Your ships are works of art. :yeah:

I am using several of your MFM ships as representations of the famous Malta convoy ships...Breconshire (MFM Med Merchant 15), Glengyle (MFM Med Merchant 15), Clan Chattan (MFM Med Merchant 26), etc. They bear a very good resemblence to your MFM merchants.

The only ones that I can't find a good lookalike for is the freighter Clan Ferguson: http://www.photoship.co.uk/JAlbum%20...rguson-02.html

and the City of Calcutta: http://www.photoship.co.uk/JAlbum%20...lcutta-04.html

By chance do any of your upcoming merchants bear a resemblence to these guys?

Wouldn't mind an HMS Manxman myself.

In the end someone created a splendid Leander-class cruiser for SH3:

http://unionunabhaengigerwerften.wor...d-hms-leander/

I did start an Abdiel-class minelayer model when working in the British Mediterranean Campaign for SH4 (derived from the Tribal-class model), but never finished it (too much work for a newbie in 3D).

Maybe those guys in the Union Unabhängiger Werften are the ones to be politely asked. They just released a wonderful set of British destroyers.
