Any detailed info about VII in game?
Is there any detailed info availible about the VII-class boat in the sim? I made a search run to internet, but couldn't find much of news. I'm curious, why they concentrated just to one boat? Was it just because of new interior, working engines and so on, or can we wait some other neat features being included?

The reason is you get a far more detailed boat all together and they dont have to delay the game to include other types. I think the other boats will be available through addons . But as far as further information , well its just extremly scarce .

Remember, it's not just one boat, its type VIIA, B, C, C/41

No, elanaiba, I won't.

It says the VIIA could also carry mines rather than torps ?

It's much more accurate to say "just one Type (as in Type II, VII...) with all versions represented". Though I wonder if the differences between each version will be purely functional (speed, range/fuel carried, displacement...) as opposed to having also visual differences (having exterior and interior models' differences that can be noticed, even if subtle).

Would love to know if it would be possible for some astute modder to add a playable VIID though... |

I hope they aren't rewriteing history to make weapons apear early just to fit their time restraint. Excuse me, maybe Fat I torpedoes, but I dought it. |
Well, we did get the VIIC/42 in SH3, so rewriting history would not be new.

It's all supposition. Let's face it. We actually know very little about the game itself. Which is somewhat surprising, and worrisome, given that the game is due to be released shortly.

Well, it was said the game ends for the skipper in 43. That is this game on this disc...:hmmm: What about subsequent discs? (DLC) :hmmm: Dan? :D |
