Weather key fix needed, search provides nothing.
 

I've just the other day reloaded SHIV ver 1.5 and have installed a few mods.

Is a "Weather key fix" that goes like this:

SH4/Data/Cfg/Commands
Then look for [Cmd261] which defaults like this:

Report-Weather
CTxT=1
MnID=0x3f250006


Add on to that used to be as follows ( in bold print for this post )

Report-Weather
CTxT=1
MnID=0x3f250006
Key0=0x57,c,"Ctrl+W"

I swore that was like I had it about 8 months ago before I deleted SHIV off my HD, but the way I have it here does not work. :damn:

Anyone have the answer?

Please no mod for I've what I want in mods so far and none incorporates this fix.

i have a orders bar mod that gives you a weather report on the orders bar but i dont recall the mod for the key command :hmmm:

it looks right the way you have it but try switching the "ctrl" key for "shift" key and see what happens because one of those wouldnt work for me when i was trying out some key combinations for my mod i cant remember which one of those your not supposed to use.

also not the one your looking at but the numbers have changed for a lot of the commands and menu items from 1.4 to 1.5 so make sure you dont just drop 1.4 mods in 1.5 game

Well I'll be..........It worked. :woot:

I just copied it from yours, deleted mine and pasted yours,. Viola.:yeah:


Although I did see in mine ( the one that I deleted ) the W on the end was lower case and not upper. Could that have made it not work?
