Email notifications?
 

Since the last "database error" around 24 hours ago, I stopped receiving email notifications for subscribed threads (even though instant email notification is selected). Is this another "new" change that's been made to lighten the load on the servers? :hmmm:

I noticed that yesterday. I hope that is not the case, though. I belong to some other forums that don't use e-mail notification and it is hard to keep up with threads that way. I thought my Gmail account wasn't working right, then I thought about the problems here lately.

No, nothing on this has been changed, but I will check.

Yeah, something with the upgrade has glitched the email, I will dig into it.

Ok, does that mean you are getting the email notifs now? :hmmm: I have set up the mailserver again, let me know if you are getting them. I did a diagnostics and it worked, and I registered as a new member and that worked. Let me know.

Ah ha! Yes, I see the problem. I decided to use Google for my forum mail; Google only allows 500 outgoing messages a day :dead:

Switching back to the mailserver.

Should be fixed now.

Seems to be - the continual "ping" of my Outlook has returned, lol.
