Set up on this nice lil convoy late 44 in Formosa. Actually it was a TF, but a mix of merchants and CA's and as usual many Type ABCD's.

Calm waters and the de's picked me up from far away, amazing and let me have it. I watched one charge go through my sub and blow up inside..love that rendering...

Ship flooded, lost all engines, batt, rudder, finally got to the top. Acutally blasted the charge racks off a few of them and went back down. Took forever to get surfaced again, but did. Let go all bow torps, sterns gone and actually sunk one. Fought it out until we died...got four.

You think about it....stuff like this probably happened...no chance..and all we know is lost at sea.

Nice shooting, too bad they got you! I'm afraid you're right, that was probably a realistic scenario back in the days.....

Well, I played it badly, but was late and just did a save point and gave it a go...Trying to fight Type AB's in shallow calm water is a death trap with TMORSRD..I was actually gonna do a long range attack, but probably stayed at decks awash too long and they picked me up on radar, thus the early call....

Formosa is very dangerous place 44 and 45...
