Getting TEABAGGED in Battlefield 2
 

What a frustrating night I was about an inch away from starting up smoking again :dead:

New account with BF 2 in about 3weeks of playing off and on, last time i played BF2 was when it first came out.

So i start with the newb weapons - while every player on the servers are pros with ranks to the eyeballs. Sometimes i just sit in a tank firing like a retard at anything that moves. Not to mention the flyers NEVER EVER miss their targets they are so good flying around probably blind folded.
lol was in the new Wake island map for BF 2 and we lost to the flyers I mean we couldn't even catch a base cause we couldn't reach the damn island! Getting shot down on the way there. :har:

Of course my rank shows above my head so every pro wants to make my life hell!

Oh man im about 500 points from getting my first unlock weapon im going to choose the sniper rifle and friggin well just camp my arse off. :arrgh!:

Tip for newbs:
Go medic and heal your buddies or anti tank and blast everything that moves! level up quicker. I think...

Dude, stay out of Wake unless you are on the PLA side. :O: It's not that the US cant get to the island, it's that 80% of the team is standing around in the carrier waiting for a chopper or an plane to spawn just so they can fly for 5 seconds before they get blown away. Then they do it again.

That's the story of any map with a powerful respawning vehicle. How many times have I seen:

"Cap flags instead of camping for Panther!!!"

spring up in FH2? More than I can remember that's for certain.

Yes, true that. But Wake makes it even worse as the US has one shot on getting to the island "easily" when the round starts. If it fails, people just tend to give up.

Yeah, I've lost track of the amount of times I've been nailed by a PLA helo on transit. Although the smart guys take the Black Hawk at wave height all the way around out of visual of the island and approach from the rear and drop inf in the beach.
Of course, the key word in that paragraph is 'the smart guys' of which many servers are sadly lacking. :damn:
BF2s hitboxes frustrate me anyway, I've emptied clips into baddies before only to be blasted in the face by them. At least in FH2 they tend to die more frequently when you shoot them (although sometimes even FH2 glitches, which is annoying).

Yeah or in tonights case, some dude on the carrier on OUR side was planting explosives on the helicopters then unknowing to us we all jump in and BOOOOOM!

Well i connected the old joy stick up and was determined to take out those flyers. What can i say i did take out a helicopter! But those flyers man thats another story :oops:

BF2 is actually pretty darn good game, have had it on my HD for years. It's just that you need to know which maps to play and which to pass. Wake being a good example of a map that is extremely unbalanced, the US starts from a carrier or from a small island, while the PLA controls the Wake. The PLA J10 is already superior to the F35B, so if the US team cant get into the island on the first try the PLA will just hammer them from the air making anything but swimming very risky.

There's plenty of not so popular maps that are great. :yep:

Its alot of fun, dont be put of by what ive said, just my way of saying this game still rocks after 5 years. for $30 bucks you also get the expansion and booster packs.

one new map or should say its not an original map, i seem to keep going back to is the castle map (forgotten the name) - where theres a castle/fortress in the middle both sides start outside where its who controls the castle wins - its really sniper v sniper on the castle walls. :yep:

Dragon Valley is a pretty good map if I remember correctly...

The best IMHO. Well balanced. :yep:

love that map, everyone seems to fight in one area up top , so grab a heli or jeep and try capture all the enemy bases south.

Great Wall is the map i was trying to remember in previous post. I still like Strike at Karkand and Gulf of Oman maps.
